Do you know the Waterboys!?!
I was in Boston last night for something very special to me. A concert with my dearest friends. We went to see the Waterboys at the Wilbur theater in Boston MA. This place is amazing. It's an old theater near Chinatown, a very lively place full with kids having fun!!!
I have been a great fan of the Waterboys since I was 10, yes, that makes a long time ago....I remember seeing them in Paris like 15 years ago and I always wished to see them once again because this Parisian concert had been one of the best I could go in my life....yes, OK I also met one of my ex-boyfriend at his concert, there but this is personal history ;)
That band is....amazing!!! There is no other word! Of course Mike Scott is quite old but he kept that energy on stage, the one that make an evening out unforgettable..... And yesterday night it was!
Well, maybe there had been a few "fausses notes" during that show...like a song re-started after a false-start ;) we had great laugh even if we had in return a loud "oh...shut up" from the singer...... Ahahah!!!
Yes, as you see I love that band. And seeing an "Irish" band in Boston is something special as half of the city is Irish ;) 2nd/3rd generation but still vividly Irish ;)
We had new songs but the audience was mad each time they played old hits like "A girl called Johnny" or "The whole of the moon" and when steve and mike started "Tagle, ragle, gypsy" the audience was overwhelmed ;)
